The Police, Fire and Crime Commissioner is responsible for agreeing the budget for Essex Police and overseeing how it is spent.
The Crime Prevention Fund is money made available by the PFCC to encourage community safety partners, local and voluntary groups to deliver innovative ways to prevent and tackle crime and anti-social behaviour in line with Police and Crime Plan priorities.
