Rochford District Public Meeting – Tuesday, January 16, 2018
Roger Hirst, the Police, Fire and Crime Commissioner for Essex, is holding a public meeting in the Rochford District in the New Year.
Residents from all the district communities including Rochford, Rayleigh, Hawkwell, Hullbridge, Rawreth, Hockley, Ashingdon, Canewdon, Stambridge, Great Wakering, Sutton, Barling, Little Wakering and Foulness are welcome. As Mr Hirst is the first Police, Fire and Crime Commissioner in the country, people can also ask questions about Essex County Fire and Rescue Service as well as policing matters.
The meeting is taking place on Tuesday, January 16 at the Freight House in Bradley Way, Rochford, SS4 1BU between 6.30pm and 8pm.
Details of current crime trends and ongoing operations will be discussed at the meeting by a panel of community safety leaders which will include Mr Hirst, Deputy Police and Crime Commissioner Jane Gardner, Chief Inspector Glen Westley plus representatives from Essex County Fire and Rescue Service and the local Community Safety Partnership.
