The Police, Fire and Crime Commissioner (PFCC) for Essex is inviting residents from across the Maldon district to attend a public meeting to learn more about crime and community safety in their area.  The meeting will take place on Monday 7th October 2024, from 7pm to 8pm in Southminster Memorial Hall, High Street, Southminster, CMO 7AY.  PFCC Roger Hirst will be joined by panel members from Essex Police, Essex Fire and Rescue Service and Maldon District Council.  This event is open to all residents and businesses of Maldon district, all residents are welcome to attend.  What to expect at the meeting: 
  • Hear about current crime trends and community safety initiatives in the area, including Tollesbury, Burnham, Bradwell on Sea and Wickham Bishops. 
  • Learn about the Police and Crime Plan and Fire and Rescue Plan priorities. 
  • Ask questions and share your concerns directly with the panel. 
  • Get updates on initiatives around anti-social behaviour, theft of vehicles and the work of the neighbourhood policing team.
