PFCC pays respects to HRH Prince Philip, Duke of Edinburgh

Roger Hirst, Police, Fire and Crime Commissioner for Essex said “It is with sadness that we offer our sincere and heartfelt condolences to Her Majesty the Queen and her family on the passing of HRH The Prince Philip, Duke of Edinburgh.

“The Duke of Edinburgh has made an extraordinary contribution to our country over many years and his work is an outstanding example of a life dedicated to public service. As we mourn his passing, together as a county, let us remember the huge contribution he has made, the country he has helped us become and the good he will leave behind.

“Our thoughts and prayers are with Her Majesty at this sad time.”
