What are your thoughts on the Police and Crime Plan for Essex?
As I reach the end of my first year as elected Police and Crime Commissioner (PCC) it is timely to look back and reflect on the past twelve months. It has been a challenging year, but also one of opportunity, working with the public and across partnerships to make a real difference to policing and crime reduction in Essex.
UPDATE: PLEASE NOTE THAT THE CONSULTATION PERIOD CLOSED ON FRIDAY DECEMBER 6, AND THE RESULTS ARE NOW BEING COLLATED.
Going forward Essex Police will be facing further significant financial pressures, which will impact on the delivery of policing services in the county. Therefore I am undertaking a consultation with you and with partners, seeking views on policing and crime, and the role of the PCC. I am also keen to consult on the priorities for policing and crime, as set out in my Police and Crime Plan. Whilst I am not looking to make any radical changes on the strategic vision and key areas of focus set out in the Plan, I am keen to hear from you on whether you feel I need to refine our focus or indeed if there are other issues that should be included as priorities within the Plan.
You can access the survey directly here.
I would be grateful if you could complete the short survey – there are seven questions and should take no longer than 15 minutes to answer, before the closing date of Friday December 6, 2013 . Furthermore, I would welcome any additional feedback that you may want to send to me. You can contact me, or one of my team at:

Thank you for taking the time to complete the survey, your views count.
