Vehicle theft features in discussion at PFCC public meeting for Thurrock district

Vehicle theft, visibility of officers in the community and street pastors were topics discussed at the PFCC public meeting for Thurrock district.
Police Fire and Crime Commissioner Roger Hirst hosted a lively discussion on crime and community safety at the meeting for Thurrock.
The meeting took place on Monday 25th November from 7pm to 8pm at The Beehive Centre, West Street, Grays.
PFCC Roger Hirst was joined by Ch Insp Tony Atkins of Essex Police and Michael Dineen, Assistant Director for Counter Fraud, Enforcement, Public Protection and Community Safety I Corporate Services at Thurrock Council.

“Being able to hear directly from local communities is essential,” said Roger Hirst, Police, Fire and Crime Commissioner. “This meeting was a valuable opportunity to understand your concerns and ensure we are working together to make Thurrock a safer place.”
The next PFCC public meeting is for Epping Forest district on Monday 9th December 2024 from 7pm to 8pm at Thornwood Village Hall, North Weald Bassett, Thornwood, Epping, CM16 6NB.
All residents and businesses of Epping Forest district are welcome to attend.
