Residents of Southend district Invited to PFCC Public Meeting

The Police, Fire and Crime Commissioner (PFCC) for Essex is inviting residents from across the Southend district to attend a public meeting to learn more about crime and community safety in their area.
The meeting will take place on Thursday 26th September 2024, from 7pm to 8pm in Committee Room 5, Southend Civic Centre, Victoria Ave, Southend-on-Sea SS1 9SB.
PFCC Roger Hirst will be joined by panel members from Essex Police, Essex Fire and Rescue Service and Southend City Council.
This event is open to all residents and businesses of Southend district, all residents are welcome to attend.
What to expect at the meeting:
- Hear about current crime trends and community safety initiatives in the area, including Westcliff, Shoeburyness, Prittlewell and Leigh-on-Sea.
- Learn about the Police and Crime Plan and Fire and Rescue Plan priorities.
- Ask questions and share your concerns directly with the panel.
- Get updates on initiatives around anti-social behaviour, theft of vehicles and the work of the neighbourhood policing team.
