Residents and businesses invited to annual Colchester district PFCC public meeting
The Police, Fire and Crime Commissioner (PFCC) for Essex is inviting residents from across the Colchester district to attend a public meeting to learn more about crime and community safety in their area.
The meeting will take place on Monday 11th November 2024, from 7pm to 8pm at the Royal British Legion, 39 Barfield Road, West Mersea, Colchester, CO5 8QX.
PFCC Roger Hirst will be joined by panel members from Essex Police, Essex Fire and Rescue Service and Colchester City Council.
This event is open to all residents and businesses of Colchester district, all residents are welcome to attend.
What to expect at the meeting:
- Hear about current crime trends and community safety initiatives in the area, including Marks Tey, Tiptree and Wivenhoe.
- Learn about the Police and Crime Plan 2024-28 and Fire and Rescue Plan 2024-28 priorities.
- Ask questions and share your concerns directly with the panel.
- Get updates on initiatives around anti-social behaviour, theft of vehicles and the work of the neighbourhood policing team.
