Police and Crime Plan for Essex is launched
The Police and Crime Commissioner is delighted that the first ever Police and Crime Plan for Essex has now been agreed and published.
Nick Alston said: “The Police and Crime Plan sets out key areas of focus for Essex Police and partner organisations. Our shared aim is to reduce crime so that there are fewer victims of crime in our county.
“I hope as many people as possible will read the Plan, which will evolve and develop over time as some objectives are met and new challenges arise.
“I’m delighted by the enthusiasm and involvement of Essex Police, Community Safety Partnerships, district and unitary councils, the voluntary sector and members of our communities in developing and shaping the Plan. Now it’s down to all of us to deliver its objectives and make Essex an even safer county in which to live and work.”
