Harlow residents can have their say at PCC’s public meeting

Harlow residents can raise their crime and policing-related concerns with the Police and Crime Commissioner for Essex and the Essex Police District Commander.
Everyone is welcome to attend the meeting hosted by Nick Alston to discuss local crime and community safety issues in Harlow.

The public meeting starts at 6.30pm on Wednesday October 7, 2015, and is being held at the Harlow Study Centre, Netteswellbury Farm Harlow CM18 6BW.

A briefing document on crime trends in Harlow can be read or downloaded from the link below:

Members of the public can ask their questions of the PCC for Essex, and Harlow’s District Commander Chief Inspector Alan Ray, who will speak about the actions being taken by local officers to keep the area safe.

Nick Alston said: “I encourage everyone who lives in the Harlow area to come along to the meeting and raise the issues that matter to them around crime, policing and community safety. If you care about keeping Harlow safe, please join us and be part of the debate.”

The public meeting is scheduled for:

Time: 6:30pm to 8:30pm on Wednesday October 7

Location: Harlow Study Centre, Netteswellbury Farm Harlow CM18 6BW

People who do not want to raise issues or concerns publicly at the meeting, can do so privately in a one to one surgery with the PCC directly ahead of the meeting.

To ensure the smooth running of the surgeries, these are run on an appointment-only basis.

Any member of the public who would like a one to one with the PCC in the late afternoon of Wednesday October 7 can contact the PCC office directly on 01245 291600 or use the online booking form on the PCC website here.
