Braintree residents invited to PFCC public meeting

The Deputy Police, Fire and Crime Commissioner (DPFCC) for Essex is inviting residents across the Braintree district to attend a public meeting to learn more about crime and community safety in their area.
The meeting will take place on Monday, September 9th 2024, from 7pm to 8pm at the Queens Hall, Chipping Hill, Halstead, CO9 2BY.
DPFCC Jane Gardner will be joined by panel members from Essex Police, Essex Fire and Rescue Service and Braintree District Council.
This event is open to all residents of the Braintree district, all residents of the district are welcome to attend.
What to expect at the meeting:
- Hear about current crime trends and community safety initiatives in the area, including Halstead, Witham, Hedingham and Silver End.
- Learn about the Police and Crime Plan and Fire and Rescue Plan priorities.
- Ask questions and share your concerns directly with the panel.
- Get updates on initiatives around anti-social behaviour, theft of vehicles and the work of the neighbourhood policing team.
